Narrative Outline
Professional Responsibility is the second project of the social awareness campaign; “Slow down” is my topic. Society is too busy and developed well nowadays; therefore, people always do anything fast. We can find a great deal of things about quickness or speed. But, the point is how many things we have really gotten. In the past few years, some countries in Europe like Italy have cared about the “slow” things, for instance, slow food, slow travel, and citta slow. They pay attention to have a living style like Middle Ages in Europe but keep the civilization. There is no driving, no fast food, no Starbucks, etc. Actually, they don’t want those kinds of fast things around their lives because of a based implied reason-environmental protection. They try hard against noise and air pollution, globalization and quantification. They care about everything in their lives amd love handmade stuff, but they don’t give up all of the modern things, for instance, the internet. They like homemade products and food; and then, they spread the information and tell everyone about the essence of their citta slow. They said if we eat fast, how we can know what we eat.
Creative Solution
Slow is quality, not slack. Sometimes, when you slow down to do things carefully, you will do it better. In other words, the slow life picks up speed and gives you more quality life, which is not just about finishing works but also about enjoyment. Do you know what is in front of your door? We are not machines. We need thinking and feeling when we do anything. This campaign has to be available around people who can easily get the slow massage any time. Post-its are a good choice because they could be seen everywhere and are convenient. I decided it to be my main item of this “Slow Gift,” which is a white clean box including six bookmarks and post-it puzzle that shows the words ”SLOWDOWN.” Moreover, the users can hang the post-it kit on the wall if they do not put it on the table, and it could save the space or they can put it near the telephone in order to use it easily.
Logo design is my hand writing.
Outcome
We don’t need to ask people, ”Slow down!”, but we can remind people that slowing down is good for them. Post-it is a good reminder. Some handwriting sentences have been printed on the post-it before people use it, so when you leave some massages for your family or friends who will also read those reminding sentences, which tell them to “Slow down.” This campaign is a positive way to change and influence everyone slowly, and hope they can keep in mind, and then do it without strain.
